EPOC, pronounced EPIC, is a 50 minute full-body high intensity interval workout. This class is for all, whether you are beginning your fitness journey or just looking to mix up your routine. EPOC stands for Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption, the “after burn” effect at the end of an intense workout. Get stronger physically and mentally with a fast-paced, ever-changing circuit of strength and cardio exercises that keep your body guessing and mind engaged.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The class is programmed to incorporate cardio to improve endurance, strength to melt fat and functional exercises to move better. Cardio will include long durations and short bursts of intervals to increase stamina. Strength will involve compound exercises to torch fat. In the end, we recover by stretching and engaging muscles that are often forgotten. Trainers will motivate and keep you accountable from beginning to end.
